Giselle and Duncan
Giselle and Duncan celebrated their wedding day at Bowing Oaks with a timeless navy blue and gray color palette, beautiful spring weather, and thoughtful details throughout the venue.
The couple exchanged vows beneath the I Do Oak, surrounded by the natural beauty of the property and 130 of their closest family members and friends. Cherry blossom trees framed the entrance to the ceremony, creating a romantic focal point as guests arrived and the wedding party made their way down the aisle.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio for cocktail hour before moving into the ballroom for the reception. The comfortable flow between the outdoor ceremony space, patio, and indoor ballroom allowed each part of the celebration to feel distinct while keeping the entire wedding conveniently located in one place.
One of the most memorable design elements was the creative use of the cherry blossom trees. After framing the ceremony entrance, they were moved indoors and placed behind the sweetheart table. Repurposing a statement installation in this way gave the couple two beautiful looks while making the most of their décor.
Inside the ballroom, Bowing Oaks farm tables added warmth and texture to the navy blue and gray design. A custom lighting projection provided another personalized detail, while a sparkler send-off brought the evening to a celebratory close.
Giselle and Duncan’s wedding was a wonderful example of how couples can combine classic colors, romantic floral accents, and the natural setting at Bowing Oaks to create a wedding that feels elegant, personal, and welcoming.
