A licensed and insured caterer and bartender must be selected from our list of Approved Caterers/Bartenders. You may supply your own alcohol, but no kegs are allowed and no shots may be poured. You may provide your own food and drinks in the dressing rooms while you are getting ready, but all alcohol must be removed prior to the start of the ceremony.
We recommend utilizing ABC Fine Wine and Spirits' Concierge Service for purchasing beer, wine and liquor for your wedding. They will help with determining appropriate quantities, as well as deliver your selections to Bowing Oaks the day of the wedding.

We have a list of approved caterers, bartenders and wedding coordinators that you must select from. For other vendors, we do not have a specific list, but anyone providing services on our property must be licensed and insured. They must sign a Vendor Contract and provide proof of insurance at least two weeks before the wedding takes place. If you are already working with a professional wedding planner that is not on our list, please let us know prior to signing your contract.s here

Sparklers must be purchased through Bowing Oaks for $150, which includes the sparklers, lighters, and sand buckets; this option is only allowed if one of our approved wedding coordinators is hired. No confetti, rice, birdseed, or water-soluble products may be tossed.

Nothing may be attached to any surface using nails, staples, tape, glue, or any other means. Candles are allowed, as long as the flame is in an enclosed container. Confetti and glitter are not allowed to be used anywhere on the property. Any rose petals used outdoors must be fresh, not artificial.

Yes, a minimum $1,000,000 event insurance policy is required. We can provide recommendations for purchasing this coverage, or you may speak with your insurance agent.

We must have your final floor plan, vendor list, and proof of insurance at our final walk-through, at least two weeks prior to the wedding. Final walk throughs are typically held 30 days prior to the wedding.

Yes, electrical power is available at both ceremony sites.

Yes, one hour ceremony rehearsal is included. Your wedding coordinator will direct the rehearsal in conjunction with your officiant. Due to conflicts with other events, it is possible that a rehearsal may take place during the setup period of another event. In this case, rehearsals will be scheduled at 9:00 am and must be completed by 9:45 am. Likewise, rehearsals may take place during your scheduled setup time. The final ceremony rehearsal time may be confirmed four months prior to the event.

Amplified music, such as DJs or bands, are not allowed to perform outside for a reception. If your reception includes acoustic music, or other non-amplified entertainment, we can discuss options with you. Amplified music is allowed for the ceremony and cocktail hour at a lower volume.

Your well-behaved pets are allowed outside, but not inside the building; they must remain leashed and under control at all times. Service animals permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

There are signs posted in the parking lot stating that there is no overnight parking. We don’t mind cars being left, but our gate is locked after hours. Depending on our event schedule, the gate may be locked until Monday.

Yes! There are several hotels within a five-minute drive of Bowing Oaks, as well as dozens of options within 15 minutes.
